Helping Hand Home

Hope Austin aims to tackle food insecurity for students in Austin. By providing weekend meals to students who lose their subsidized meals offered during the school week, HopeAustin ensures the brightest future for our children and the broader community by ensuring children have every opportunity to learn and thrive without hunger. Foundation Communities
Foundation Communities is a local, homegrown nonprofit that provides affordable, attractive homes and free on-site support services for thousands of families with kids, as well as veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. From volunteering to build welcome kits or helping residents file their taxes, there are a multitude of ways to help Foundation Communities serve their mission.
Mobile Loaves & Fishes
Volunteer at the Community First! Village that provides affordable, sustainable housing for the disabled and chronically homeless or choose to help prepare and deliver meals to the homeless. See their volunteer calendar here. All volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Preservation Austin
Preservation Austin seeks to create a future where historic places play a meaningful role in everyone’s life, inspiring all Austinites to become advocates for preservation.
