The Drop-In Summer Concert Series

ACL Radio & The Long Center teamed up to bring you a free weekly concert series on the Long Center lawn all summer long. The event features a diverse lineup of Austin’s favorite and emerging artists in the heart of downtown.

Cine Las Americas International Film Festival

June 7 - June 11
Various Locations
The festival showcases contemporary films and videos from Latin America (North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean) and the Iberian Peninsula. Films and videos made by or about Latinos & Latinas in the U.S. or the rest of the world, as well as films and videos by or about Indigenous groups of the Americas are also invited to participate.

Central Texas Juneteenth Parade & Celebration

Rosewood and Boggy Creek Park
Juneteenth, also known as "Freedom Day" or "Emancipation Day," is the oldest known African-American celebration commemorating the end of slavery. This annual event features a parade with floats and entertainment and a celebration with food and local vendors.

Pride in Local Music Festival

Long Center for the Performing Arts
The Pride in Local Music concert event celebrates local music through the rainbow heartbeat of our great music city, produced by the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. The day features musical performances from local artists on the lawn at Long Center for the Performing Arts.

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic
July 4 at 1pm

Created in 1972 by Willie himself, this iconic Independence Day celebration features incredible live music acts and a fireworks show. This year’s musical guests include  Willie Nelson & Family, Tyler Childers, Dwight Yoakam, Shakey Graves, and more.
