Paramount Summer Classic Film Series
May 22 to August 31  |  The Paramount Theatre
Escape the summer heat and step into the magic of Austin’s historic movie palace at the 50th Annual Paramount Summer Classic Film Series. ATX Television Festival
May 29 to June 1  |  Downtown Austin
The ATX Television Festival is a one-of-a-kind event celebrating the past, present, and future of TV. Structured like a traditional film festival, it features premieres, fan favorites, and panel discussions. Attendees can also enjoy Q&As and panels with top creators and cast members, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the evolving world of television.

Blues on the Green
Zilker Park 
This free summer concert series in Zilker Park brings together local and national blues artists for an evening of live music under the Austin sky, perfect for enjoying the outdoors and soaking up the city’s vibrant music scene.

Blanton All Day: Summer Dance Series

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic

Established in 1972 under the guidance of Willie Nelson himself, this Fourth of July extravaganza showcases phenomenal live music performances and a breathtaking fireworks display.

Hot Summer Nights
July 24 - July 26  |  Red River Cultural District
A free multi-day music and arts festival spotlighting Austin's Red River Cultural District, offering food, drinks, and community.

PBR Team Series - Gambler Days
August 23 - 25  |  Moody Center
Catch the excitement of a high-energy team bull riding competition, featuring some of the top riders in the world, alongside Austin’s team, the Austin Gamblers.

Driftwood Nights
Every Friday  |  6 PM - 8 PM  |  Vista Brewing
Head to Vista Brewing every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. for Steak Night, paired with live music and storytelling from talented songwriters from Texas and beyond. 

The Drop-In Summer Concert Series
Long Center
93.3 KGSR and The Long Center have partnered to host a free weekly summer concert series on the Long Center lawn. Enjoy performances from a mix of local favorites and up-and-coming artists, all set against the backdrop of downtown Austin.

Watching the Bats
Beginning in late March and lasting through early fall, Austin’s famous bat flights are best viewed around sunset. The spectacle typically begins between 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. and can last up to 45 minutes as thousands of bats emerge from the bridge. Be sure to arrive early to secure parking and claim a good viewing spot!
